Nippon is an Island off the coast of eastern Cathay roughly the equivalent of Ancient Japan as many lands correspond to real world counterparts. Nippon is also the native term for Japan. They are rumored to have samurai and monsters called Oni. Nippon is rumored to be ruled by rival shoguns vying for control of the land and are known for a fierce rivalry with Cathay. The Skaven of clan Eshin learned the art of ninjutsu from the people of nippon as are represented in their clans troops. The Skaven are a race of man-sized rat-like creatures in Games Workshop 's Warhammer Fantasy setting Games Workshop has released little information pertaining to the eastern lands of Cathay, and the Kingdom of Ind through background information.
