She is best known for her portrayal of various characters in the BBC sketch show Goodness Gracious Me, including Mrs "I can make it at home for nothing!" and one half of The Competitive Mothers. Personal life
Wadia is married to the composer Raiomond Mirza. She met him in Canada and married him there in July 1998. Surrey is a county in the South East of England and is one of the Home Counties. Like Wadia, Mirza is also a Parsi and they had a traditional Parsi wedding. [1] The couple had 2 children
Wadia was involved in the Pakistan Earthquake Appeal Concert and Fashion Show, at the Royal Albert Hall in 2005. She has also been involved in campaigning for Save the Children[3] and for increased organ donation from Asians in Britain. Save the Children is a leading international organisation helping children in need around the world Organ donation is the removal of the tissues of the Human body from a person who has recently Died, or from a living donor for the purpose of transplanting [4]
