New Bern High School is a high school in New Bern whose students come from the New Bern and James City area. It is located in Craven County. Craven County is a County located in the US state of North Carolina. On December 10, 2007 the New Bern Bears beat Charlotte Independence High Patriots for the state 4AA championships. The student population is approximately 1848. The 2007-2008 school year was the start of Principal Stuart Blount's term.
Athletic Program
The athletic program offers football, basketball, baseball, track and field, volleyball, cross-country, golf, swimming, marching band, soccer, and softball.
