Muuido is a small island visible from near the Incheon International Airport. Hanja is the Korean name for Chinese characters. More specifically it refers to those Chinese characters borrowed from Chinese and incorporated The Revised Romanization of Korean is the official Korean language Romanization system in South Korea. McCune-Reischauer romanization is one of the two most widely used Korean language Romanization systems along with the Revised Romanization of Korean, which Incheon International Airport (IIA (인천국제공항 is the largest Airport in South Korea, and one of the largest and busiest in Asia. It is served by a daily ferry from Incheon ferry terminal, as well as by a frequent car ferry which crosses the narrow channel separating the island from the mainland.

Muuido is mentioned in Eugene Clark's Korean War narrative The Secrets of Incheon. Commander Eugene F Clark,USN was deployed (as a Lieutenant to the Flying Fish Channel leading into Inchon
