Musical theatre, a live theatrical show on stage where the drama progresses by means of music, song and (often) dance
Musical film, the film analog of the musical theatre

Musical theatre is a form of Theatre combining Music, Songs spoken Dialogue and Dance. The musical film is a Film genre in which several Songs sung by the characters are interwoven into the narrative
