Mordechai Werdyger, Born April 16, 1951, professionally known as Mordechai Ben David (lit. Literal translation, also known as direct translation, is the rendering of text from one language to another "word-for-word" ( Latin: " verbum pro Mordechai son of David) or MBD for short, is known popularly as "The King of Jewish Music".
He has produced a record amount of Jewish albums, many of them incredible hits. His father David Werdyger was a popular Jewish singer and cantor originally from Cracow and is a "Schindler" Jew. David Werdyger is a popular Chazzan, and the author of Songs of Hope. Oskar Schindler ( 28 April 1908 &ndash 9 October 1974) was a Sudeten German Industrialist credited with saving almost 1200 MBD blends traditional Hasidic melodies with modern pop to create the songs in his albums and which he performs at completely sold out concerts.
