Moondog One is a Manchester based rock band. Members include former Oasis rhythm guitarist Paul Arthurs, Johnny Evans of Buffalo 66 as well as Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke of The Smiths. The band's name is said to be based on an early name used by The Beatles - "Johnny and the Moondogs". The Beatles were a pop and rock band from Liverpool, England formed in 1960 The band has yet to become famous. A series of demo tracks has been recorded in guitarist Bonehead's home studio and produced by Paul 'Spooner' Heywood (Bonehead's guitar technician during his Oasis years). The demo is also said to feature contributions from former Stone Roses guitarist and member of Ian Brown's band Aziz Ibrahim, with backing vocals by Rowetta of Happy Mondays fame.
