Mont Wright is a mountain near Fermont, Quebec, a site of major iron ore mining operations since the 1970s by Québec Cartier Mining Company. Fermont is a French-speaking town in northeastern Quebec Canada. Year 1970 ( MCMLXX) was a Common year starting on Thursday (link shows full calendar of the Gregorian calendar. Québec Cartier Mining Company is one of the leading producers of Iron ore products in North America.

Mont Wright itself does not exist anymore; it's now a 200 m (700 ft) deep pit. Today's production of Québec Cartier ore comes from nearby Mont Survie and Paul's Peek mountain.
