Min Mee-Geum - Citizendia

Min Mee-geum(민미금 (閔美琴))is a major character in Dae Jang Geum. Dae Jang Geum ( literally The Great Jang Geum, aired in the United States as A Jewel in the Palace) is a 2003 TV series produced She is the mentor of Chang-ee and also second teacher to Seo Jang Geum and Lee Yeon-saeng. Chang-ee (창이 (昌伊 is a minor character in Dae Jang Geum. For the historical figure that this character is based on see Jang Geum Seo Jang Geum (서장금 (徐長今 is the main character of the Korean television series Lee Yeon-saeng (이연생 (李連生 is a major character in Dae Jang Geum. She first appears as a Na-in but for most of the series is a Sang-Goon(known as Lady Min). When Jang Geum and Lady Han are exiled, Choi Seong-geum casts all friends of the two criminals out of the Royal Kitchen, including Lady Min and Chang-ee. Choi Seong-geum is a major character in Dae Jang Geum. She is considered the most notorious woman in the series and is known as Lady Choi throughout much of the series She then becomes Yeon-saeng's lady-in-waiting when she becomes a concubine. A lady-in-waiting (also called waiting maid) is a female personal assistant at a Noble court, attending to a queen, a Princess or other Finally, she is brought back to the Royal Kitchen with Chang-ee after the conviction of the Choi family, where she earns the title Highest Lady of the Royal Kitchen. The series ends with her in this position.

Lady Min lives her life so she can live a quiet life of peace. She is very loyal to Lady Jung and Lady Han. Lady Min is played by Kim So-ih (김소이 (金素怡)).
