Mendi, Papua New Guinea, is the provincial capital of the Southern Highlands Province, and is also the name of one of the seven districts of that province. Papua New Guinea (or ˈpæpjuːə in Tok Pisin: Papua Niugini) officially the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, is a country in Oceania Southern Highlands is a province in Papua New Guinea. Its provincial capital is the town of Mendi.
