Meher is a Hindi television emotional thriller soap based on the story of a muslim girl who fights for her own destiny. Doordarshan (दूरदर्शन literally Tele-Vision) is the public television broadcaster of India and a division of Prasar Bharati, a public Prime Television is an Australian television network owned by Prime Television Limited. Plot
The story revolves around a muslim girl Meher, who has an identical twin sister Shobana, who was separated from her at birth. Meher was brought up by her mother, Shaeen Begum. Her mother always thought about and chose what was best for her daughter. They have a close relationship with each other and confide in each other a lot. But on the other hand, Shobana was taken from her mother Shaeen Begum. The person who took her was her own Aunt Rukshana Khala. She used her and brought her up to kill and deceive people. And when the story takes off, Shobana is after Meher's money and her in-laws as she tries to take Meher's place in her husband's house. The feud leads to killing and murders. Besides that, people are confused about who is Meher and who is Shobana.
