Synopsis
Peter, hearing Quagmire brag about his sexual exploits, feels that he has missed out on enjoying the single lifestyle. Peter Griffin is a Fictional character and the Protagonist of the animated television series Glenn Quagmire is a character on the animated series Family Guy, best known for his satyriasis. Death is summoned to The Drunken Clam on a false alarm, and he grants Peter’s wish by sending him (along with Brian) back to 1984 for one night. Over Brian's objections about leaving the "perfect" world, Peter begs Death to return him to the past so he can undo his mistake. Back in the past, Peter is determined to accept Lois' invitation, but stupidly blows his opportunity again and again, and ends up repeatedly asking Death for a do-over. When Peter parties again with Cleveland instead of keeping the date, he asks Death for another chance. Death, however, is fed up with Peter's bumbling and refuses to give him another mulligan, and Lois is greatly upset at Peter for missing their date. A mulligan, in a game happens when a player gets a second chance to perform a certain move or action Peter and Brian sneak into the country club dance to prevent the kiss that caused Lois to fall in love with Quagmire. A country club is a private Club which offers a variety of recreational Sports facilities usually located in city outskirts or rural areas After Lois tells Peter that he’d had his chance and blown it, Peter almost gives up, but then demonstrates his passion by punching out Quagmire and kissing Lois, winning back her heart. A kiss is the touching of one person's lips to another place which is used as an expression of Affection, Respect, Greeting, Farewell He asks her to marry him, and she accepts. In order to keep with the Back to the Future theme, Brian mocks the part where Marty McFly plays "Johnny B. Goode" and does the same thing but uses Rick Astley's hit 1987 single "Never Gonna Give You Up". Back to the Future is a 1985 science fiction Comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg. Ernie looks angrily at Peter, but is held back by another partygoer, and is told that he'll probably never see Peter again.
Afterwards, Peter and Brian return to present day where they find that life is seemingly back to normal - until Roger from American Dad! appears and asks the Griffins, "Who ate all the Pecan Sandies?"
