Martyn John Evans (born 27 November 1953 in Birmingham, England), Australian politician, was an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives from March 1994 to October 2004, representing the Division of Bonython, South Australia. Evans entered the South Australian House of Assembly following a by-election caused when Peter Duncan resigned his seat to contest a federal seat. The House of Assembly, or lower house is one of the two chambers of the Parliament of South Australia. Moving to federal politics in 1994, Evans was a member the Opposition Shadow Ministry from 1996 to 2001.
The Division of Bonython was abolished at the 2003 electoral redistribution, and Evans instead contested the Division of Wakefield at the 2004 election, but was defeated.
