Marne-la-Vallée has been established on an area covering 26 communes, in the départements of Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne. The commune is the lowest level of administrative division in the French Republic. - Val de Bussy (twelve communes of Seine-et-Marne: Bussy-Saint-Georges, Bussy-Saint-Martin, Chanteloup-en-Brie, Collégien, Conches-sur-Gondoire, Ferrières-en-Brie, Gouvernes, Guermantes, Jossigny, Lagny-sur-Marne, Montévrain and Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes)
- Val d'Europe (five communes of Seine-et-Marne: Bailly-Romainvilliers, Chessy, Coupvray, Magny-le-Hongre and Serris)
