Career
Coming up in the ranks prior to his conceptualization and creation of Slaughter, Mark Slaughter was the lead singer in the group Vinnie Vincent Invasion. The lead vocalist (or lead singer) is the member of a band who sings the main vocal portions of a song [1] VVI had a number one hit song "Love Kills", that appeared on the Nightmare on Elm Street 4 movie soundtrack in 1988. A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 The Dream Master is the fourth film in the A Nightmare on Elm Street series After the group disbanded in the late 1980s, Slaughter, along with fellow VVI alum Dana Strum, formed the group Slaughter. Slaughter would go on to sell an excess of five million records in the 1990s. Personal life
Slaughter currently lives in Nashville with his two children, and takes part in charity causes such as his active participation with St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. St Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962 is a leading pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases [5][6]
