Mark finished in second place in the second season of Pop Idol in the UK, runner-up to Michelle McManus. Fearne Cotton (born 3 September 1981 is an English Presenter known for presenting a number of popular TV programmes such as Top of the Pops From April 2006, Mark co-hosted the weekday children's breakfast show Level Up on BBC Two alongside Nixon and Ayesha Asantewaa. Level Up was a UK children's TV programme broadcast by the BBC on CBBC Two and the CBBC Channel. Level Up finished its first season in September 2006.
As of September 2006, Rhodes co-presents BBC Two's Saturday morning show TMi alongside Sam Nixon and television presenter Caroline Flack. TMi is a Saturday morning children's show presented by Sam Nixon, Mark Rhodes (aka Sam and Mark) and Caroline Flack. Caroline Louise Flack (born 9 November 1979) is a British Television presenter. He has his own short segment of the show called "Question Mark", A feature where he tries to answer viewers' questions, but Caroline and Sam talk through it.

Mark splits his time between his flat in London, and his family house in Wolverhampton, where he is regularly seen socialising in the village of Wombourne.
