The maneuverable reentry vehicle (abbreviated MARV or MaRV) is a type of nuclear warhead capable of shifting targets in flight. A nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from Nuclear reactions either fission or a combination of fission and fusion. Typically a warhead is the Explosive material and Detonator that is delivered by a Missile, Rocket, or Torpedo. Refer to atmospheric reentry.
