Gazal Corporation is a listed public company of the Australian Stock Exchange. Mambo has hosted local and overseas surfing events and gives financial support to Reach Out and Greenpeace. Mambo is a major exporter and helps to develop young talent, produce innovative products, artworks and quality clothing.
Although Australian owned, Mambo manufacture their products in various locations off shore, hence leading to the expression "made near Australia".
During the 1990s Mambo produced the ubiquitous "farting dog" T-shirt designs; at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney it supplied printed Hawaiian shirts to the Australian Olympic Team.
