She currently lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and occasional coauthor Gary A. Braunbeck. Columbus is the Capital and the largest city of the US state of Ohio. Gary A Braunbeck (born July 1960 is an American Science fiction, Fantasy, mystery and horror author She is a graduate of the 1995 Clarion Workshop; authors Nalo Hopkinson and Kelly Link were among her classmates. Clarion is a six-week workshop for new and aspiring Science fiction and Fantasy writers Nalo Hopkinson (born December 20, 1960) is a Jamaican born writer and editor who lives in Canada. Kelly Link is an American author of Short stories born in 1969.
