Lori McCreary is an American motion picture producer and computer scientist. She is co-founder and CEO of the production company Revelations Entertainment. Revelations Entertainment is an independent movie Production company founded by Actor Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary in 1996
McCreary grew up in Antioch, a small town in northern California. Antioch is a Suburb of San Francisco and Oakland located in Contra Costa County, California Her mother, actress Sharon Rich, left the entertainment industry to raise the family.
McCreary graduated from UCLA in 1984 with a degree in Computer Science. While still in college, she co-founded CompuLaw, a computer software company that continues to thrive.
McCreary's appreciation for the stage play "Bopha!" inspired her to go into motion picture production. Bopha! is a 1993 drama Film directed by Morgan Freeman and starring Danny Glover. Actor Morgan Freeman was signed to direct the film. Morgan Porterfield Freeman Jr (born June 1 1937 is an Academy Award -winning American actor Film director and Narrator. Later, Freeman became McCreary's mentor and eventually the pair partnered in the formation of Revelations Entertainment in 1996. Levity is a 2003 Drama movie, directed by Ed Solomon. Its theatrical release was on April 4. In July 2005, Revelations Entertainment teamed with Intel to form a new digital entertainment company, ClickStar. ClickStar ( cstarcom was a broadband movie distribution company founded by Actor Morgan Freeman and Film producer Lori McCreary of ClickStar officially launched their site on December 15, 2006, where it was the first website to legally make a movie (Revelation's 10 Items or Less) available for download while it was still in theaters. Former OpenTV executive James Ackerman is CEO. OpenTV ( is an Interactive television company founded in 1994 James Sloss Ackerman (born 1919 is a prominent American architectural historian a major scholar of Michelangelo's architecture of Palladio and of Italian Renaissance McCreary was responsible for establishing Revelations' close alliance with Intel seven years ago.
