This is a list of mayors of Detroit, Michigan. A mayor (from the Latin māior, meaning "greater" is a modern title used in many countries for the highest ranking officer in a municipal government See History of Detroit, Michigan, for more information about the incorporation of the city. The city of Detroit developed from a small French fort in the 18th century to one of the largest American cities in the early 20th century

The official residence of the Mayor of Detroit is Manoogian Mansion located on Dwight Street in the Berry Subdivision Historic District, on the city's east side. The Manoogian Mansion is the official residence of the mayor of Detroit Michigan.
