- Snyder Cemetery, Moraine State Park, north of Pittsburgh and all of Brady Township, once belonged to the Snyder family. Moraine State Park is a Pennsylvania state park on in Brady, Clay, Franklin, Muddy Creek, and Worth Townships in The family patriach, Conrad Snyder, had immigrated to the colonies from Switzerland. He worked as an indentured servant until moving out west. In what is now Moraine State Park, he built a farm on land acquired through trapping. On the remains of the land there is a cemetery with great black sandstone walls and a wrought iron gate. There's also an old irrigation system nearby. Two stone pillars mark the cemetery from the dirt road. Many have reported being chased away by large dogs. Some speculation is abound to suggest that this is Conrad's hunting dogs, but there are also coyotes and foxes in the area. Others notice huge temperature drops and sudden winds.
