The President is the head of state, a largely ceremonial post elected by the parliament. Head of state is the generic term for the individual or collective office that serves as the chief public representative of a Monarchic or Republican Nation-state [1] The President's role becomes more important after the term of the government has finished, where the powers are raised then. The President resides at the Bangabhaban Palace, the official residence of the President of Bangladesh. The Bangabhaban (বঙ্গভবন( House of Bangladesh) is the official residence of the President of Bangladesh, the Head of state of Bangladesh The post of President came into being in 11 April 1971 when first government of independent Bangladesh was formed during the Liberation War of Bangladesh.
