- Eclipse - A fantasy themed action-adventure total conversion mod in 3rd person view, developed by students of The Guildhall at SMU. The Guildhall at SMU is a video game university located at the SMU Plano campus

- DayHard - A mod set in the Half-life 2 universe made with the intentions of more humorous gameplay than the more serious tone of Half-life 2.
- Flipside - a mod where the player takes the role of a mental patient who is breaking out. Flipside was an IGF 2008 Finalist[2] and received Mod DB's 2007 Editor's Choice award. [3]
- MINERVA - Episodic single-player mod based in the Half-Life 2 universe, with a style of storytelling inspired by classic games such as Marathon and System Shock. MINERVA is an episodic series of single-player mods created by Adam Foster for Valve Corporation's Half-Life 2. Episodic games are those produced and sold in small units that build into a recognisable series (See Expansion pack) System Shock is an Action role-playing game developed by Looking Glass Technologies and published by Origin Systems. The first episode, Metastasis 1, was released in September of 2005, the second, Metastasis 2, was released on the 3rd of March, 2006; and the third and fourth chapters were released on the 1st October 2007. MINERVA was ranked #11 mod of 2005, #5 mod of 2006 and #5 mod of 2007 by Mod DB.
- Weekday Warrior - A comic book mod developed by students of The Guildhall at SMU. Weekday Warrior is a mod for the Video game Half-Life 2. It was developed by students at The Guildhall at SMU and released A comic book (often shortened to simply comic and sometimes called a comic paper or comic magazine) is a Magazine or Book of narrative It won Best Mod of the 2007 Independent Games Festival Mod Competition. - Dystopia - A cyberpunk-themed total conversion that pits mercenaries against Corporate security forces in the physical world and cyberspace. Dystopia is a Cyberpunk themed team-based First-person shooter Multiplayer Video game, developed as a total conversion modification Cyberpunk is a Science fiction genre noted for its focus on " High tech and low life. Last release March 17, 2007. - Empires - A first-person shooter/real-time strategy hybrid where each team lead by a commander, viewing the world in the top-down perspective leading troops in the first-person perspective. Empires is a total conversion modification for Half-Life 2. - Fortress Forever - A mod based on Valve's Team Fortress Classic, but has been created entirely from scratch by the Fortress Forever development team.
