Plot
Kevin Kline plays George Monroe, who is fired from his job as a fabricator of architectural models and is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Life as a House is a 2001 Drama film directed by Irwin Winkler. Hayden Christensen (born April 19 1981 is a Golden Globe Award -nominated Canadian Actor. During this experience, George reconnects with his son and his divorced wife Robin, played by Kristin Scott Thomas. Allusions to Guster
There are many instances in the movies that allude to Guster, an alternative rock band from Boston. Guster is an American Jangle pop band that is known for its live performances humor and cult following and was formed by Adam Gardner, Ryan In the film, the dog is named "Guster", and two of the main characters are named Ryan and Adam, after Guster's two main vocalists: Ryan Miller and Adam Gardner. Ryan Miller is Guster 's lead singer He also plays guitar and occasionally bass or piano Adam Gardner is a Guitarist and Vocalist of the band Guster and a member of the Tufts University Beelzebubs. Guster's songs "What You Wish For" and "Rainy Day" are also featured in the movie.
