Larry Pfohl attended high school and played football in Orchard Park, New York. Orchard Park is a Town in Erie County, New York in the United States. In late 2002, Luger joined the European tour of World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA). He debuted on November 28, 2002 in Dublin, Ireland, teaming with Sting to defeat Buff Bagwell and Malice. Nearly a month after his "spinal stroke", Pfohl was finally transferred from California to an Atlanta hospital. Doctors had told him that they would be amazed if he was able to walk without the surgery. ^[134]

Despite regaining some feeling and movement, Pfohl still remains paralyzed. ^[135]
