Previously Bach was involved with The Dishes, 5ive Style and leader of Uptighty, a premier Chicago funk band. 5ive Style (also known as Five Style a name taken from a Martial arts technique called " Five Style Fist " is a Chicago -based Funk /jam He performed in "The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World" playing guitar at the Lookingglass Theatre in Chicago. Bach also played in a well received college town band in Champaign Urbana Illinois, named The Bowery Boys. The Bowery Boys was a group of actors who made a series of films released by Monogram Pictures from 1946 through 1958. Their only release was George Jones vs. Godzilla.
