Lee Yeon-saeng - Citizendia

Lee Yeon-saeng(이연생 (李連生)) is a major character in Dae Jang Geum. Dae Jang Geum ( literally The Great Jang Geum, aired in the United States as A Jewel in the Palace) is a 2003 TV series produced She is the best friend of Seo Jang Geum. For the historical figure that this character is based on see Jang Geum Seo Jang Geum (서장금 (徐長今 is the main character of the Korean television series Since the first day they entered the palace as children, the two have always been there for each other. When Jang Geum is exiled to Jeju, Yeon-saeng weeps so much the King Jungjong sees her playing with his puppy and she doesn't even see him. She appoints her mentor Min Mee-geum and other friend Chang-ee her personal assistants. Min Mee-geum (민미금 (閔美琴is a minor character in Dae Jang Geum. Chang-ee (창이 (昌伊 is a minor character in Dae Jang Geum.

Yeon-saeng is portrayed as a beautiful, caring, and physically weak young woman.
