Lawrence Rosen (also Larry Rosen) is an attorney and computer specialist. He is a founding partner of http://www.rosenlaw.com Rosenlaw & Einschlag, a Californian technology law firm, specializing in intellectual property protection, licensing and business transactions for technology companies. He also served as general counsel and secretary of the Open Source Initiative, and advises open source companies and projects, such as the Apache Software Foundation, Python software, and the Free Standards Group. The Open Source Initiative is an organization dedicated to promoting Open-source software. The Free Standards Group was an industry non-profit Consortium chartered to primarily specify and drive the adoption of Open source standards.
Rosen is currently a lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School.
