A commune (comuna is the smallest administrative subdivision in Chile and may contain Cities, Towns Villages, Hamlets as well as Rural Chile, officially the Republic of Chile ( Spanish:) is a country in South America occupying a long and narrow Coastal strip wedged between the Santiago is one of the six Provinces of the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Chile. La Pintana is home to Antumapu, the agricultural and veterinary sciences campus of University of Chile Chile's oldest and most prestigious university.
