The Kyushu Shinkansen (九州新幹線 Kyūshū Shinkansen?) is a 249 km high-speed railway line between the Japanese cities of Fukuoka and Kagoshima, on Kyūshū Island, running parallel to the existing Kagoshima Main Line.
