Kurigram is a town in Rajshahi Division in Bangladesh. Rajshahi Division (রাজশাহী বিভাগ is one of the six administrative divisions of Bangladesh. ( Bengali: বাংলাদেশ inc-Latn Bangladesh) officially Until recently it was a part of Rangpur city but it gained district status a few years back. Districts are a type of Administrative division, in some countries managed by a Local government.
