Kathlamet was a Chinookan language that was spoken around the border of Washington and Oregon. Chinookan is a small family of languages spoken in Oregon and Washington along the Columbia River by Chinook peoples Washington ( is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon ( is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It became extinct in the 1930s and there is little text left of it.
