Kate Heavenor (born 1980, Glasgow) was a Scottish children's television presenter for the BBC. Glasgow (ˈglæzgoʊ is the largest city in Scotland and third most populous in the United Kingdom Scotland ( Gaelic: Alba) is a Country in northwest Europethat occupies the northern third of the island of Great Britain. She began her career on the then-new BBC digital channel, BBC Choice, presenting "The Crew Room", a Saturday morning show. She later moved on to the main BBC services, presenting shows such as Fully booked, FBI, Children In Need Eureka TV, and the technology series "Hyperlinks". Eureka TV was a popular Science TV seriesshown on CBBC, which showed the views the different aspects of Science She also presented on Celebdaq for BBC 3.
She studied contemporary theatre practice at the Royal Academy of Music and Drama. She recently presented Rapture TV's video game show 'G@mers',
From January 2006 she replaced George Georgiou and now heads StageCoach theatre and arts school in Southgate, London. Rapture TV was a previously Free-to-air Satellite television station (although now an exclusively online channel operated from the United Kingdom, G@mers is a computer and Video games television show produced by and shown on Rapture TV.
