Plot

• Bani, Pia and Rano are three sisters who live in Mount Abu with their father, Nishikant Dixit. Mount Abu is the highest peak in the Aravalli Range of Rajasthan state in western India. Their mother died seven years earlier due to a mishap (outlined later in the show). Thus, their father becomes an alcoholic and dies. Before Nishikant, their father, dies, he makes Bani promise that she will protect and take care of her younger sisters. Bani is the eldest and pretty. Pia is the prettiest but spoiled and yet so sexy. Rano is a bookworm and pretty.

• Soon, the three sisters arrive in Mumbai at the Walia Mansion.

• After Bani and Jai's relationship has been bonded together, it is shattered into pieces. Pia, Bani's formerly loving sister, claims to be in love with Jai, and announces their one night stand. A one-night stand is originally a single night theatre performance (usually a guest group on tour and today more commonly also a single sexual encounter between individuals Pia tries to get closer and closer to Jai and tells him that she is pregnant. Jai feels that he really wants a baby. However, Bani has difficulty conceiving since her first miscarriage earlier. He decides to keep Pia happy but hidden from Bani. Bani feels Jai is having an affair because she and Jai get mysterious calls from a blocked ID. Jai knows it is Pia but Bani doesn't. Rano finds out the truth but Pia tells her that she would kill her if she opened her mouth to anyone. On the day of their anniversary, Pia hires a guy to "shoot" her so Jai will cry for his baby, making it clear to Bani of what is going on between her and Jai. She takes Jai outside and Bani follows them, but she hides. The hired guy pretends to shoot her and Pia falls to the ground, Jai catches her and starts to cry 'you killed my baby'. Bani goes into a mental state where she doesn't cry or do anything. Jai loves Pia and will marry her. Pia is happy. Jai gives Bani divorce papers and she faints. In the hospital she has a dream about her baby. Bani finds out that she is pregnant. She wakes up and run away from the hospital. She starts hitting her stomach saying she doesn't want the baby to experience the pain she felt. She then feels that she will give birth to this baby so the baby could punish his/her father. Only Jai's cousin and Masi know about Bani's pregnancy. Pregnancy ( Latin graviditas) is the carrying of one or more offspring known as a Fetus or Embryo, inside the Uterus of a Female When Bani is going to leave the house so Pia's baby can have Jai as the father, Masi tells Bani how Pia put drugs in Jai's drink. Pia eventually gets back in the house. She tries to make Bani crazy by making up a fake person. Pia then makes a video framing Bani for Sahil's murder.

Later, Bani gives birth to twins in a mental hospital because everyone in the family stated her as a mad person because they think she killed Sahil. A psychiatric hospital (previously called insane asylum, mental hospital; or derogatorily looney bin, nut house or Funny Farm) is Pia and Jai are going to get married. Bani thinks they do but they don't because Jai is already married (to Bani). Bani runs away with the help of Aparjit Dev. In area where she is running away, mines explode, leading everyone to think she's dead.

Five years later. . .

Bani comes back as Durga Dasgupta, with help of Aparjit Dev. Aparjit Dev makes her hate Jai just as much as he hates him. No one knows she is alive, she has come silently but will leave a terror and take away her children. Now she is going to get married with Aparjit Dev for the sake of his mother who is dying of tumor.

• Later on Pia has found about Jai and Rano about their plan and she was about to leave the house as soon Rano stopped her between and start giving her lectures.

• Now after 5 years Pushkar is back to take his revenge on Jai and Pia with the help of Bani and Aparajit Dev. Aparajit Dev hates Jai Walia because he thinks Jai has killed his former wife. This is wrong and everything is soon cleared up. Bani wants her children so she says to Aparajit that she must go to Walia Mansion to get back her children, yet she will come back after thirty days. There, Bani takes control and command of the house legally and destroys Jai Walia's company. Jai lets her do this because he is secretly in love with her.

• Then Rashi, who was dying of blood cancer for five years, makes a return. Ranvir, who is Rano's husband because Rashi forced them to marry knowing she will die. Rashi is Ranvir's former wife and she loves him. Ranvir only loves Rano. Rano is torn and leaves the house. Ranvir goes after her. Jigyasa, who hates Bani, Pia, and Rano, sent goons to capture Rano. Then, she makes a deal with Bani that, to get Rano back, she must give Jai Walia's everything that she had, and she, Pia, and Rano, must live in the outhouse. Bani agrees. She comes back and tells everyone they are living in the outhouse. Jai Walia now suspects something is going on. Bani makes up a plan and Jigyasa ends up signing the property papers saying that the whole property belongs to Durga Dasgupta.

• Durga makes the whole Walia family leave the house. Walia family move into a chawl. A chawl is a name for a type of building found in India They are often 4 to 5 stories with about 10 to 20 Tenements referred to as "kholi"s on each floor Durga and Rano live in Walia house. On Aparajit's request, Durga files a case against Jai for the custody of the children. Because of Jai, Bani gets the custody. The children want to stay with their father. Jai needs money so he does a job of a waiter at a party but he doesn't know its Aparajit's party. There in the party Aparajit tells everyone that Durga and him are getting married the following week and after the marriage him, Durga, and the kids are moving to America.

• After the party Jai requests to Bani to let the kids stay with him. Bani disagrees. Later that night while Aparajit was sleeping, someone comes into his room and puts a letter saying that if he marries Bani, then a lot of bad things will happen to her. Aparajit tries to catch that person but couldn't. He thought that person was Pia. It wasn't Pia it was Jai. Aparajit Dev and Bani are going to get married. But Bani finds out the truth about the blackmailing and goes back to Jai Walia. Everyone's back in the Walia Mansion. Jai and Bani are going to get married again.

• Before the marriage, Pia asks for the custody of their son, Veer but Jai doesn't do so. So, she has Veer kidnapped. Jai already knows about her plan and report to the police. On the way, the police has caught Pia with Veer. Unfortunately Pia's car met in an accident while she was trying to escape from the police. after Bani and Jai's marriage, they received a call that Pia's car has met in an accident. They rushed to the hospital and the doctor says Pia is now in coma stage and Jai told the doctor that he wants to bring back Pia home.

• A few days passed and they are happy together but now Aparajit Dev has robbed them of all their money. They are trying to find ways to get money. After a while, Ranveer rapes Rashi. Aditya kicks Ranveer out of the house because of this. Ranveer comes back claiming to have "changed". Jigyasa thinks about a plan to steal the child from Rashi (who is therefore pregnant) and tells Ranveer to ignore Rano and pretend that he has fallen back in love with Rashi.

• Meanwhile, Rano and Bani take Pia to Mount Abu, hoping that she will recover, and to sell their house. Bani also figures out that her mother has some relation with a palace. Bani accidentally hurts an insane man named Daksh, who gets calm only when he sees Bani. Soon Bani learns that her father had sold their house to Dhanraj Builders before he died, and upon meeting Dhanraj, Daksh's father. He happily gives her the house. She sells it only to find out later on that the house was bought to be demolished. She then returns to Mumbai, in time to save the Walia Mansion.

• Dhanraj starts to search for Bani. Jigyasa fixes Nachiket's marriage with a spoiled, rich brat named Arushi, so that her family's company, Dhanraj Builders, will help the Walia's to build up their company once again through partnership. Arushi's kind and beautiful widow sister-in-law, Purva and Nachiket are in love but are agreeing to the marriage because the Walia family is counting on the alliance to build up their reputation in the market once again. Arushi is a very ugly and mean woman. Arushi is pregnant and Bani finds out that she has a boyfriend and is only marrying Nachiket to escape the embarrassment and consequences of being pregnant from her family. Arushi finds out about Bani having this knowledge and treats Bani very rudely. Bani also finds out that Purva and Nachiket love each other, and tries to tell Jai, but there is no time. Then, she finally discloses to both the families at the marriage function, the truth about Arushi and Purva and Nachiket. However, she is yelled at by everyone, including Arushi who also dismisses this as false. Then Dhanraj, Arushi's uncle, comes and reveals the truth about Arushi, as he had seen her and Bani at the airport and hospital. Mohan, Arushi's father, slaps Arushi, and they decide to get Purva and Nachiket married. Then Arushi and Jigyasa hook up together to take down Bani.

• Bani helps Daksh as a request by Jai who got a request from Dhanraj. Jigyasa and Arushi try to make it look like there is an extramarital affair going on between Bani and Daksh. The big secret that Dhanraj is keeping a way from Bani is that Daksh is the widower of Bani's long lost twin sister, Anamika. Jai wants Bani to stop seeing him even though 60% of his brain is working. Upon her refusal, Dhanraj blackmails Bani with throwing Jai back onto the streets. One night, Masi follows Bani and as she is about to start her car, she sees Masi standing in front of it. Masi asks her why she is going against Jai's orders. She then explain her weaknees is causing her to do this, in order to save their family. She helps Daksh get better by reenacting his wedding to his dead wife. He gets better and is very upset at his parents for blackmailing Bani.

• Soon afterwards, Bani decides to tell Jai about how she had helped Daksh so Jai decides to take her and his children (Krishna and Aatharva) out for dinner. She leaves with the children for the hotel when she gets a call from Dhanraj to come at his house at once. She hesitates at first but leaves on a taxi leaving the children with the chauffeur in the car to take to the hotel. On the way, the car is stooped by numerous vehicles from all directions and Krishna and Aatharva are kidnapped. BAni is waiting at the hotel and Jai arrives to break the news to her. She is shattered. They have all preparations made to trace the kidnapper who calls Jai but from the Walia mansion. Each time they aske for money Jai reaches with police causing for the kidnapper to set another meeting time. One time, the kidnappers call Bani asking for Rs. 30,000,000. Daksh insists on helping her after all she did. She doesn't tell Jai about the time so she reaches there first. After handing over the money, the kidnappers hand over the children but upon hearing the police siren which Jai has brought, the kidnappers take the money and run off with the children. In the car, the children are crying so kidnappers give the children anesthesia and hand them to Jai and Bani who are running behind the car. Bani and Jai hug the children only to find out that they are dead.

• Jigyasa has called upon a black magic sorcerer to help her kill Bani. First, to get her thrown out of the house, she instigates Jai to think Bani and Daksh are having an affair by showing her pictures of Anamika and Daksh's marriage. So Jai throws Bani out (who is already in mute state) and as Masi tries to explain the truth, he throws her out as well on the day of their children's deathday

Five years later. . . again

• Bani becomes pregnant again with Jai but is chucked out of the house. The baby is born. Five years later Bani's new daughter (Ganga) is praying and asking her mother (Bani) where her father is (Jai), Bani keeps on crying. Jai Walia's face is shown. A party is given at Walia Mansion. Mrs. Walia is called and Meera enters. Bani which is also known as Maithali lives with her daughter, Ganga and Maasi in a small house by a village in Meerut. Since Bani is gone Jai Walia has changed in his ways. He has taken advantages of all the people that owns businesses and turns them pennyless. The Walia family all take a trip to Meerut for Karuna's daughters wedding but Jai was visiting Meerut to buy an estate but the owner does not want to sell the estate because he said that he have someone who have a small shop and house on the estate. While they were in Meerut some how Ganga and Meera (Jai's current wife) met then later on Jai met Ganga but he still did not know that Ganga was his daughter. While all this is going on Jai met up with the owner of the land he wanted to buy the owner told him he would not sell his land because the current residents living on his land were very dear to him (Bani, Ganga and Maasi) so Jai was going to meet up with the residents to make a deal with them but the owner of the estates wife who is very greedy for money stopped him. She brought Jai to her home and she told him that the estate was in her name and she could sell it if she wants. So she sold it for 25 larks but Jai Walia paid 1 crore for it. But soon Ganga changed his mind of buying the land because she lived there. Jai did change his mind but Maithili(Bani), Ganga, and Maasi got kicked out of there house. Bani and her small family move from the land to Mumbai. There Bani works as a waitress in a hotel. One day she decides to pay a visit to her children's grave and leaves flowers there soon Jai sees those flower and gets the feeling that Bani left them there. A few days later she meets Mr. Walia and he some how knows she has a daughter and he thinks she's Daksh's daughter But he never found out that the Ganga he met in Meerut was Bani's daughter. After meeting Bani, Jai made it impossible for Bani to get a job in Mumbai so she went up to his house and Jai did agree to give her a job but only to make her life even more miserable. While all this is happening Jigyasa and Karuna are in fear that Jai and Bani might get back together so they try to get Meera and Jai to fall in love. They mix drugs in Jai's drink so he can have a one night stand with Meera but nothing works out; so Jigayasa plans to use Gangaa to bring Jai and Meera together. . . Later we find out that Bani has blood cancer; due to this, Bani pretends to be mean with Ganga, who is later adopted by Meera; in the walia mansion, Ganga discovers that Jigyasa made Gangaa's mom's life miserable, therefore Gangaa vows to take revenge.

• Bani gets told by Maasi that she needs to apply vermilion on Ganga's forehead, in order for the prayer to succeed. Somehow she takes advantage as a poor woman and enters the Walia mansion, along with many other people. Meera is told that they need more spoons and she recommends to go to the outhouse. Gangaa overhears and, bored and seeing Meera tired, decides to go to the outhouse herself. When Ganga leaves, we discover that going to the outhouse has been forbidden. Gangaa is left alone in the outhouse, which seems to be closed over the six year period. Ganga is frightened by the darkness of the outhouse and abruptly turns and spots something the viewer doesn't spot; she is shocked and the episode finishes. Later Gangga was discovered by Jigyasa who gives her a box. She told Ganga to show this to Jai. She brings and shows the box to Jai Walia. The box falls and their are Krishna's and Aatharva's photographs in it. He tells them that it is the only remembrance of his kids. Soon Meera finds out that Maithili is Bani. She finds out that Bani is suffering from blood cancer. She helps Bani to meet Gangga before she leaves from Mumbai. Later on, the drama shows that Bani is not suffering from blood cancer, but it was Gangga. The doctor says that they need Ganga's father's bone marrow. Maasi tries to convince Jai to do a test verifying that he is Ganga's father. But the test came out negative. But before that test Meera took a blood sample and sent it to the lab and the results came out positive. So, the doctor tells Bani that her blood report was exchanged with her daughter. The doctor also tells her that Gangga needs Jai's bone marrow so she can survive. Then Meera shows the proof that Ganga is his daughter. Furthermore he feels bad about how he treated Ganga. Meera realises how much JB hate each other but she is trying to unite them. One day finally occurs when JW calls daksh and asks him to meet him and when they do, the truth is revealed. Jai Goes to ask mausi if its actually true and mausi compares his story to lord ram and how he once threw his wife out the house believing others. Mausi asks him to apologise. He went to see Bani but something falls on Bani. Doctors says that Bani is no more. Suddently Bani coughs. Bani is alive. . . Doctor asks Bani to rest. Then when Jai comes to apologize she forgives him but then runs up to Daksh and pretends to love him. Ranveer comes back from jail and Jigyasa and Rashi are thrilled. The rest of the house doesn't want him and he repents. In the dark he accidentally hugs Rano thinking its Raashi. Rano slaps him. Raashi starts crying. We find out that it was a misunderstandin because Bani (herself) told him to go fetch Raashi's love. Ranveer comes to get Jai's blessings but Jai just walks away. Ranveer then tries to get Bani's blessing at which point Jai steps in and stops him by saying that Meera is now his Aunt and not Bani. then there is a party at the walia house, and meera invites daksh, and tells him that he will be staying with bani, and bani is asking why, because she only did this out of helplessness, then meera steps in, and wants to know the reason, so bani tells her that it's because he doesn't want to ruin meera's life, then she talks about ganga's disease, and talks about her not being able to live if ganga dies, then ganga overhears and faints. after the doctor leaves jai gets mad and asks who told her, bani told him, and he yells at her. in the middle Ganga calls her parents and says that she heard that if someone dies then they become stars, he asks if she will become a star, then Jai and Bani say not to worry.

• After that everyone goes to the temple to perform puja, but Jai doesn't go. Knowing that Jai is not going to the Puja, Bani also make an excuse to not go to the temple and besides that she wants to find out why Jai is not going because she overhears him talking to someone over about outhouse. So when she goes there following him they console each other with their children and sleep together and then when Meera comes back she see them together and then Bani says that she will now go and come back only to give her child to Meera and Jai to save Ganga and then she will go forever but then jai says don't go your presence doesn't make a difference on my and Meera's relationship, and then he put mangalsutra on Meera.

• The day Pallavi gets married, Jigyasa and Karuna go to the outhouse to destroy the secret; take it out. But there they find that Jai has odered a bulldozer to demolish it down. Jigayasa screams. . . "NO". . . then she goes inside to hide something, but everyone sees it. It's Pia and she's on a wheelchair. She seems to be in vegetative state still.

• Then there they find the gloves and the ring of the person who had kidnapped Krishna and Atharva years ago and killed them. Jigyasa says that she kidnapped and killed them and Pia was also involved. Police arrest her but not Pia because of her mental condition. Later, while talking to Pia, Bani tells her that she hates her and later the doctor comes to take Pia to the hospital. Bani then says that Jigyasa couldn't have kidnapped and killed her children as she was busy trying to destroy and get rid of Bani. But when she asks Jigaysa the truth, she says that she did this. Later Bani pretends to be kidnapper and found out the truth that neither Pia or Jigyasa kidnap the kids. Meera promise Bani that she is with Bani and she will help to find the kidnapper. Both Meera and Bani takes Pia out of the hospital. Jai finds it out. Meera has to tell him the truth that the day Walia's had a prayers at home. Both Bani and Meera tell the truth to Jai Walia and tell him Jigyassa is not the actul culprit, there is some one who makes them do so and Pia knows the culprit and only she will be able to help them. Soon Bani faint. We discover that Bani is pregnant.

• Later Rashi gave a statue of 'Santoshi Maatha' and told Bani that she wanted to go to the temple and pray. Bani says the whole family will follow. Bani asks Daksh to enter the Walia Mansion to find who is the killer of the twins. Daksh found out who is the killer. When he calls Bani, she said she was on her way to her house. Daksh saw the traffic jam and started running to reach at Bani when suddenly a lorry came and hit him. Bani, Jai, and Meera were shocked. Jai went to help Daksh and he told the truth to Jai that Bani didn't love Daksh but she acted so Jai and Meera could live together. Meanwhile Raashi and Ranvir are at the temple where they have decided to stay overnight while the rest of the Walia family leaves. When they get to the top of the temple, Ranvir tries to kill Raashi by kicking a rock towards her so that she trips and falls over the cliff at the temple. However, Santoshi Maata saves Raashi and a truck comes in the way and she falls on that and is saved. Then Santoshi Maata tries to kill Ranvir and he falls over the cliff. He is taken to the hospital and here Ranvir's thoughts are revealed. He wanted to kill Raashi because Aditya his father had given everything to Raashi in his will and said that if something happened to Raashi then only will Ranvir inherit his money, which is why Ranvir wanted to kill Raashi. At the same time Jai and Bani are crying and Jai is asking "why did you lie to me?" and he is mad at himself for his mistakes. Later Bani gave birth to twins again. Jai and Bani want to named them (Krishna and Aatharva). Suddenly we see a man walking. Its actually Pushkar. Bani discover that Veer is with Pushkar. He also said he will take Pia back after she recover. Its Meera's birthday and Bani wants to celebrate it in her Mount Abu house. Everyone agree with that. Bani took Pia for a walk and push her wheelchair. Pia stood up and Runs. Bani is stunned. Bani asks Pia to tell the truth about her children murder. Pia refuse. She said it will put Bani's life in danger. Bani runs and Pia follows her. Pia said that her kids murderer is one of the family member and she points to one of them.

• Bani looks to see who she is pointing at and it is Aditya uncle and she is confused and upset, the man who she looked upon as her father actually killed her children she thinks? Bani goes to Meera and tells her that she has found the murderer and motions that its Aditya and Meera is confused as well. Aditya goes outside and Bani goes too and wants to yell at him as to why he did that but Meera stops her saying it will put her life in danger. Also Aditya announces to the whole family that he has given all of his money and property to Vidya and Raashi is the caretaker until Vidya turns 21 so Ranvir is upset and decides that he will pretend to be good until Vidya turns 21. Bani and Meera walk in some forest and suddenly Meera steps on something and her foot bleeds and Bani says why are you barefoot and Meera said I couldn't find my sandals and its discovered that Bani is wearing Meera's sandals because she had just put on someone sandals since Ganga was playing with hers. Meera says "Bani why did you take my chapal(sandal)"and Bani looks up speechless and then Meera says, "Why did you take my husband" and Bani is shocked. Meera's actual personality is now revealed. Bani realizes that Meera's shoes were two different sizes just as Daksh had said the murderers shoes were and she realizes when Pia was pointing to the murderer she was really pointing to Meera but Aditya was just standing in the way. Meera tells Bani that it was she who kidnapped her children because she was in love with Jai however all Jai ever talked about was Bani Bani and Bani some more. So she worked with Jigyasa and tried to make Jai believe that Daksh and Bani had an affair. She explains that she didn't want the kids to be killed but the men she hired accidentally had the sniff the poisonious drug that makes you fall asleep. Meera explains that even after she got married to Jai all he ever cared about was Bani and how much he hated her and all of her memories. Then, as Meera explained they met her in Meerut where Meera put on her nice girl act and helped Bani immensely. She explained that she wanted to adopt Ganga so Jai would like her however nothing changed. Then Ganga got cancer and Meera herself as part of her plan asked Bani and Jai to become one. As Meera said, everything was going perfectly but of course Bani had to find out about the Outhouse mystery and everything was ruined. She explains to Bani how she had to kill Daksh because he found out the truth and Bani is horrified and Meera explains how she was angry that Daksh told Jai the truth about how there was no relationship between Bani and Daksh. Meera tells Bani that she now must die because she has caused way too many problems. She grabs ahold of Bani and starts bashing her face into some wooden item and Bani's face bleeds. Back where the whole Walia family is Bani's self portrait begins oozing red paint and Krishna and Atharva (the newborns) start crying and at this point Jai is like where is Bani and goes looking for her. Meera continues to beat Bani and her face is bleeding profusely and then Bani kicks Meera and runs. Jai also comes to the forest and comes directly behind where Bani is standing but neither of them see each other.

• Bani is still trying to run away from Meera, while Jai sees Meera and asks, "Where's Bani" and Meera so sweetly replies, "I was just looking for her too, I saw her go into the forest". She then asks Jai if she can have one of the newborns (Krishna and Atharva) that Jai is carrying and Jai smiles and gives her Atharva. In the meantime while Meera is talking to Jai she sees Bani hiding behind a tree but when she reaches there Bani is gone. Bani makes her way back to the house, her face bleeding profusely. Jai is also inside the house and his back is faced towards the window and he is holding baby Krishna who is towards the window. Bani bangs on the window for Jai to hear but Jai who is basically deaf doesn't hear her, she is crying and tries to get the attention of someone in the family, but astonishing enough NO ONE sees her because the rest of the family is dancing. Meanwhile, Meera shows up with baby Atharva and this is an extremely sad moment. Meera says, "Look who I have, your baby" and Bani is horrified and scared. Meera takes Bani back into the forest where she starts tossing baby Atharva in the air while Bani screams and pleads saying, "Don't kill my child what has he done to you". Then suddenly Meera throws Atharva in the air and Bani grabs a stick and hits Meera who falls down. She catches Atharva and places him in a basket of fruit lying nearby and Meera takes the stick and tries to hit Bani but fails. Then Meera sees a pot of oil and a diya (puja oil lamp) lying near the statuate of Durga/Kali Maa in the forest. She drenches Bani with the oil and Bani is scared and prays to Kali Maa saying that please help me, you too are a mother, please help this mother.

• But its too late, Meera takes the oil lamp and prepares to throw it at Bani and tells Bani goodbye Bani and she throws it. Bani immediately catches on fire and starts screaming her whole body covered with fire and she runs and falls off a cliff into a lake with her whole body covered with fire. Meera smiles and says, "Ek thi Bani, ek tha Jai Bani mar ge katham kahaani" which means there once was Bani and there once was Jai and Bani, but Bani died ending the story. Meera says, "Bani you have gone to a place where you will never come back, Kasamh Se" This is a staggering and sad moment as Meera laughs in an evil way. Meanwhile Meera goes back and realizes that Atharva is no longer in the fruit basket that Bani had placed him in and she panics and doesn't know what she will say to Jai. Then Jai comes and says, "Where is Bani" and realizes she is missing. He is devastated and orders the police to look for her but they can't find her body. In the next scene Meera is shown in the same room as Pia and she tells Pia that she knows that she had been acting and that it was too bad she stayed quiet because then she could have saved her Bani didi as she has gone in a place where she will never come back and Pia looks horrified.

• Then Pia tries to kill Meera and tells her that she will tell everyone the truth then Meera blackmails her that if she goes and tell everyone the truth she will hurt Veer. So Pia stops. Then later the police find Banis braclet and say she may be no more. Jai is devastated. he cries. Dadi tells him to accept Meera as Krishna needs a mother and so does Ganga. Athrava is missing. Then Jai tells Ganga that Bani's no more. Ganga cries. Then they show a lady who is Bani but she don't know. she's covered in a caste along with her face. She has forgotten her memory. From here, Banis face is changed, as she has a plastic surgery. The doctors take the bandage off of Bani's face and she is shown her new face. Bani is unable to remember anything about her life or who she is.

• Meanwhile Ganga's bone marrow transplant is happening at the same hospital in Mumbai where Bani is. Krishna is left in the hospital room while Jai and Maasi are with Ganga when Krishna starts crying. Bani hears her and feels some connection with the baby and picks her up and she stops crying. Jai wants to thank this woman but when he goes in the hospital room she has left. Bani is then discharged from the hospital and she is going to go with the man who found her and live in Calcutta. Ganga's surgery is a success and she returns home and the family is happy. Jai is still depressed and misses Bani dearly but promises to fulfill the job Bani left him, to raise their children Ganga and Krishna. Bani then prepares to leave Mumbai and says that she feels she has some connection with the city and that she will have to return when she regains her memory and that it could take 1 year or maybe even 20 years. It has been recently revealed that Bani's new name will be Promita, a Bengali name.

Sixteen Years Later. . .

• Meera wakes up to find blood next to her and tries to find Jai. The blood drops take her to a closet where Jai is there and he jumps out and hugs her and he has a fake knife on his back. Meera is surprised but it is revealed that its just a trick for Meera's birthday and Jai hugs her saying "Happy Bday". The next scene is Meera's bday party, where she cuts the cake and Jai says, "Where's Ganga and Krishna". Ganga, who is about 22 years old and Krishna is 16 enter and dance to "Piya Piya". Vidya [who is also about 22], meanwhile is enganged in her book and is supposedly like Rano with glasses and has love for reading. Ganga and Krishna run to Vidya and take her on the dance floor and Rano is reminded of her 2 sisters as she watches the sisters (Ganga and Krishna) and the cousin Vidya dance. Ganga is more like Bani, wearing a salwar kameez and resembles her. Krishna is like Pia, with short, stylish hair and modern clothing, and Vidya is like Rano. Meanwhile, Bani is now known as Promita and lives in Calcutta and paints all the time. Her birthday is supposedly the day after Meera's because that was the day she got a new face. Bani/Promita is working on a painting that represents something from her past life and her "dad" urges her to go to the Mount Abu showcase that's coming up and she agrees. Meanwhile Jai is tense because the grooms side is here to see Ganga for marriage and he is astonished how fast time has flown and he looks at Bani's picture wishing she was here to share the joys of her daughter's marriage.

• The next morning, the grooms side comes to see Ganga and the guy Ganga is going to marry is Rahul. Ganga and Rahul meet in private and Rahul is completely modern and lived in America. He asks Ganga if she has a facebook account or an email address and Ganga doesn't know how to use a computer, so Rahul is irratated. Ganga says that her hobbies are cooking, hanging out with friends, and painting similar to her mother Bani's. Meanwhile Bani/Promita prepares to go to Mount Abu for the painting exhibition and her father tells her that she must visit the Kali Maa mandir and this slowly jogs Promita/Bani's memory as this was the place Meera tried to kill her sixteen years ago. Ganga and Rahul end their meeting and the family decides to fix the marriage. Ganga is determined to learn how to use the computer and asks Krishna (who is sixteen) to help her but Ganga just doesn't understand so Krishna is like "Di its soo simple" (she sounds like Pia). Jai tries to solve their fight but he can't take the side of either one of his daughters since he loves them both equally. Ganga and Meera hug constantly, revealing the so called mother daughter bond when in reality Ganga is hugging the woman who tried to kill her mother and took her away from her. The Walia family is very happy but suddenly the phone rings and its Rahul's (guy Ganga is going to marry) father and he says something to Jai.

• He tells Jai that Ganga and Rahul can't get married because their "kundli's" don't match. Jai then goes and visit's Rahul's dad and it turns out that he wants money in order for the marriage to take place, Jai agrees. However the next day he visits Rahul's father and brings some gifts and the grooms side is all excited. It turns out that Jai brought tomatoes, paneer, and old shoes and yells at them saying that he will never get his daughter married to the son of a man who wishes to sell his son. He breaks off the marriage, leaving Rahul and his dad ashamed and calls the police. Meera and Aditya are happy that Jai taught them a lesson. Meanwhile Ganga tells Rano that she wants her to enter Ganga's paintings in the exhibition at Mount Abu since Rano is going to Mount Abu for Bani's barsi. Bani who is known as Promita is going to the same exhibition as well. Rano agrees and Ganga talks about how she dislikes Mount Abu because that was the place where she lost her mother and brother when she was only six years old. Jai comes home and explains to Ganga that Rahul and his family are not right for her and he wants her to focus on her career rather than marrying. The two share a sweet father daughter moment where Ganga cries saying she misses her mother but is happy because she gave him the best father in the world. The next day Promita/Bani is leaving for Mount Abu and Rano is on the same train as her. She doesn't recognize Rano at this point. Suddenly a man calls for his younger daughter who is incidentally named Bani. Both Rano and Pronita/Bani turn and Rano tells Promita that her sister's name was Bani and she asks whether one of her relative is named Bani and Pronita replies,"My name is Bani". However then she is confused as to why she said that and replies, "No my name is Pronita". Pronita/Bani and Rano talk and eat food on the train together. The scene is similar to the train scene at the beginning of the show when the three sisters are going to Mumbai. Promita/Bani puts a blanket around Rano and feels some sort of connection with her. She then begins to get some flashbacks but still doesn't recognize Rano as her sister.

• The next morning they reach Mount Abu and Rano says,"Welcome to Mount Abu" Then Jai calls Ganga and tells her not to be upset about how the wedding was broken off. Then Jai is doing the pooja or something like that for bani, then when bani steps doem from the train its really windy and the fire for the pooja goes out. the pandit says that now they can't do the pooja. jai thinks of how he feels that bani is near him. Promita/Bani gets out of the tax and she starts getting flashbacks of the memories and how Meera was killing her. she goes to Kali Mata mandir and her head is really hurting. She asks Mata why she is doing this to her, and what is mata trying to say to her and then she sees Jai. he does not recognize her and she gets dizzy and faints but jai catches her and stares at her for a min. Jai brings her to Bani's Mount Abu house but Pronita/Bani doesn't recognize it but gets all sorts of mixed memories with Pia and Rano and her father. Meanwhile back in the Walia house, Maasi finds a disco id in Krishna's jeans pocket and Krishna gets grounded by Meera and is very upset that she can't go o the movies with her friend.

• The next day is the painting competition and Pronita/ Bani enters the picture she made of Bani which is incidentally her old face but she doesn't know that. Rano and Mr. Walia enter Ganga's painting as well and Pronita/Bani finishes it adding a baby to the picture the woman Ganga drew and wrote a phrase that Bani used to say to Ganga when she was little. Rano is shocked that Pronita/Bani knows this. Pronita/Bani wins first place in the competition and Ganga is the runner up. Also Mr. Walia sees the picture of Bani and goes to Pronita and asks her how do you know my wife? She is confused and Mr. Walia concludes that she must have seen the picture of Bani when he took her to Bani's Mount Abu house the previous day. Pronita/Bani is frustrated and doesn't know what relation she has with Bani Walia.

• Meanwhile everyone in the Walia house is celebrating because Ganga won 2nd place for her painting. Krishna is in her room because she is grounded and Meera and Ganga go and get her. Meera apologizes and says lets forget about what happened and they are about to go downstairs but Ganga finds a pack of cigarettes under Krishna's clothing. Meera is apalled at how far Krishna can go. This indicates Krishna's rebellious nature and the fact that she is spoiled. Ganga consoles Meera and tells her that she will make Krishna understand. meera goes to explain to krishna. Rano then comes back and Aditya tells her what has happened. He says that Ganga is a a very sensible girl and resembles Bani but Krishna can do just about anything. We then see someone going out of the window covered in a blanket and enters a car. The person then enters a very noisy disco and we then find out that it is Ganga who is at the disco drinking, smoking and flirting with boys.

• Rahul (the guy Ganga was going to marry) comes to the disco and tells Ganga that if she doesn't get her father to get his father out of jail he will tell Mr. Walia about Ganga's real nature. Ganga says that she will and then goes back to party in the disco but then her cell phone rings and its Mr. Walia who tells Ganga that he is coming home in 10 min. and wants to talk to her. Ganga is scared so she gets in the next cab and goes home but Mr. Walia reaches there before her. He goes up to Ganga and Krishna's room and finds Ganga missing. Ganga meanwhile comes home wearing a short dress and high heels. She puts on a robe and runs upstairs pretending to be the "good" girl she acts like in front of her father. After Mr. Walia leaves the room Meera notices that Ganga is wearing high heels and notices the dress underneath her robe and then sees the disco stamp on her hand. Meera tells Ganga she will tell Mr. Walia and calls Jai's name, meanwhile Ganga smudges the disco stamp making it look like a bruise and Mr. Walia thinks it a bruise too and doesn't get what Meera is saying. After Mr. Walia leaves Ganga says thanks for covering up and Meera smiles and says no problem and tells her that its her life and she can live it any way she wants just tell her next time she goes out. Ganga smiles and says you're the best mom. Meera then goes over to Bani's picture and says, "Look Bani your daughter is just like me, she pretends to be something and is really something else and tells her that Ganga is going in the wrong path and there is no one there to help her and she laughs. Meanwhile Pronita/Bani is going to Mumbai to find out about her past and she calls her father who incidently also seems evil when he calls a man on the phone and tells him that "Everything is going according to plan, Pronita is coming to Mumbai. "

• Pronita does go to Mumbai. Meanwhile in the Walia house preperations for a party in honor of Ganga's prize in the painting competition. Rano shows Ganga her painting that Pronita had completed for her. Ganga looks at it and gets sentimental because the phrase on the bottom is what her mother used to say to her. She thinks about her childhood with Bani. Rano tells Ganga that she should learn from Pronita and she calls Mr. Walia and asks him about that. Ganga however doesn't really want to learn painting from Pronita. Mr. Walia, who is willing to do anything for Ganga and get ahold of Pronita but he can't reach her. However miraculously Pronita/Bani is staying at Mr. Walia's hotel in Mumbai and she appears in his office and complains about his staff. Mr. Walia apologizes and then asks her is she will teach Ganga painting and she agrees. Mr. Walia also invites her to Ganga's party later that afternoon. Pronita/Bani goes to a painting shop where Ganga is as well. Ganga trips on a glass ball like object and is about to fall and yells "Mama" and Pronita/Bani runs and grabs her (this is the first time Bani is seeing her daughter after 16 yrs. ).

• Pronita gets faded memories of her and Ganga when she was little but still doesn't get her memory back. Ganga thanks her and then leaves. Krishna wants to talk to her father about something but he sort of ignores her saying here I know you want to go shopping for the party tonight and gives her money. Krishna actually wanted to talk about something else but she goes shopping anyway. Rano, Rashi, and Meera are preparing for the arrival of Vicky and Varun who had gone to America to study. Varun is Rano's son (Sahil is the dad) and Vicky, who has never been mentioned before is Meera's son supposedly from her previous marriage. The siblings and cousins, Ganga, Krishna, Vicky, and Varun dance to Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Pronita enters the party and watches the Walia family smiling and dancing. Rano tells her that this is all because of her "Bani Didi" and now Meera has taken on her role. Mr. Walia introduces Pronita to Ganga but they had already met at the painting shop. Pronita/Bani then has to leave to attend her fathers call and she tells him about how she thinks Mr. Walia has killed Bani. Meanwhile Meera passes Pronita to got to Mr. Walia's office to get something and Pronita gets flashbacks.

• Meera is happy that Jai has put a picture of her and Jai in his office but is mad that there is also a picture of Bani and she throws the picture on the ground and Mr. Walia enters the room looking for Meera and steps on the picture of Bani. Pronita also passes the room and sees Mr. Walia stepping on the picture of Bani and her suspicions are confirmed that Mr. Walia killed Bani. It is also revealed that Pronita father already knew that she is Bani and that Meera is her killer but he has kept the truth hidden from her for years but he is now glad that Pronita has a chance of running into her real killer, Meera. Ganga on the other hand has agreed to learn painting from Pronita but she reveals to Meera that she has a completely different plan in mind and made a deal with Pronita that she would only go sometimes to the "lessons" and use the painting lessons as an excuse to hang out with friends. In the next scene, Meera tells her son Vicky that he must join his father in buisness and Rano on the other hand tells her son Varun that he should relax and enjoy his vacations instead of joining his masat in buisness. The next day Meera is excited that her son is going to work with Jai but it turns out that Jai forgot about that and he is excited that its Ganga's first painting lesson. He tells Meera that he wants Vicky to start at the bottom and work his way up to success through hard work rather then having success handed to him because he is Jai's son. Meera is disappointed and then Ganga enters and she tells her dad that she has to go to college for her project and she will go to her lesson with Pronita later. Jai is reluctant but agrees and leaves for work and suddenly Ganga realizes that her cigarettes were in the bag Jai took to work. Ganga and Meera run over to Jai's office and meanwhile Jai runs into Pronita/Bani on the elevator and hands her Ganga's painting bag with the cigarettes in it. The lights then go out in the elevator just like what always happens when JB are on the elevator together and Jai remembers all the times with Bani and he consoles Pronita/Bani and holds hands with her. Meanwhile Ganga is extremely nervous as to what will happen if her dad finds the cigarettes, she finally meets her dad and Pronita and gets the bag from Pronita and says that she will come to her lesson in a few minutes. Then Ganga bumps into someone and her bag falls to the ground and the cigarettes also fall out. Jai is shocked to see them and asks Ganga what that is. Ganga says that she would never smoke and that in her school all the non-smokers are having a protest and taking away cigarettes from anyone they see smoking. Jai smiles and believes her saying that I knew my daughter would never do that. Ganga then goes to her painting lesson where she tells Pronita about her parents and her mom specifically. Then Ganga's phone rings and her friend asks her to come to the club for a party. Ganga lies and says that it was her stepmom, Meera and that they are going to the mandir(temple) and she leaves the class. A few minutes later Meera comes in and asks Pronita whether Ganga was in here or not. Pronita doesn't look at Meera because she's painting but says no she left a while ago. Pronita/Bani realizes that Ganga lied and she also recognizes Meera's voice from somewhere. She runs after Meera but they don't meet. Meanwhile Ganga goes with Meera to the mall and buys some clothes and sees Pronita at the same shop. Meera sees a while sari that she knows Jai will like (the sari models one that Bani wore many years ago) but she leaves for a few minutes and Pronita ends up buying it and Meera is outraged and runs after her because she wants the sari, but the two don't meet. Ganga goes to a club that is in the mall and Krishna, Varun, Vidya, and Vicky are also at the same mall for lunch. Meera runs into them and she gets mad at Vicky and tells him to only concentrate on his work and to not have fun with his cousins. Meera then leaves to go to a dentist appointment with Jai. The club manager tells Ganga that she has to pay her bills for the past few months in 2 days otherwise he will go to her father to ask for the money and Ganga panics. Then suddenly a bunch of robberers take over the mall and demand that everyone remains quiet until they get all the money they want from the mall. Everyone from all parts of the mall has to come to the center of the mall, including Ganga who was in the club. Ganga sees her cousins and Pronita and panics because she is wearing a short dress and she attempts to hide behind her friends. The robberers shoot a bunch of people who are trying to call on their cell phones. Krishna gets very scared and starts crying and prays to her Bani mother saying that even though I have never seen you before I always think of you when I'm in trouble and begs her to save her. Pronita/Bani senses some connection to Krishna and goes over to her and hugs her telling everything will be alright. Meanwhile Jai and Meera hear on the radio about the mall being taken over and they both panic because the kids are there. Jai tries to go in the mall but the police won't let him. Krishna is crying and Pronita tries to console her but Krishna says she wants to talk to her papa and tries to call him on her cell phone. Pronita tells her not to but finally gives in and Krishna calls her dad and Jai is yelling Krishna are you okay? But then a robberer sees her and holds a gun towards her and releases the trigger, Krishna and Pronita aren't shown but Jai hears gunshots from the phone.

• When everything has calmed down, Ganga leaves from the back route. She finds an officer shot on the ground with a bag of money. She picks them up and goes to the Bar manager who threated Ganga that if she doesn't pay the bill of her drinks, he will ask Jai Walia for the money. She gives him the money. She then goes to the basement and Pronita finds her there. She tells Ganga how she knows her reality and her two faces. Pronita tells Ganga that she saw Ganga threating the Bar manger and that she is a spoilt girl who lies to everyone.

• Ganga then abuses Pronita and bribes her to be quiet by giving Pronita the money that Ganga stole. Ganga then goes home and pretends to be her "nice" self and Meera is extremely mad at Vicky who got shot in the arm while trying to save Krishna. Meera explains to Vicky that Krishna and Ganga aren't his real sisters and that his main aim in life should be wealth and nothing else. Meanwhile everyone else in the house is busy preparing for a party in honor of Bani's birthday. Krishna invites Pronita/Bani to it and Pronita gets everyone to do a skit that she hopes will reveal that Jai killed Bani. Ganga only agrees to do it because Pronita promises not to tell her dad about her real personality.

• At the party the next day, Krishna, Ganga, Vicky, Varun, and Vidya put on a skit on the song of Daastaan from Om Shanti Om and Bani played by Ganga is depicted getting killed by Jai however no one else seems to get the message. Pronita is waiting for a reaction from Jai however Jai ofcourse has no reaction since he isnt the killer but Meera is freaking out after seeing this. Pronita writes a note that says, "I know what happened sixteen years ago and asks Jai to come upstairs. " Jai goes upstairs and there are lilies in the room but Jai has no reaction but then Meera finds the note and she goes upstairs and is completely stressed and freaked out. Pronita is confused as to why Meera is showing the response she expected from Jai and she still hasn't seen Meera's face. Meera goes down and she is begged by the kids to sing a song so she sings, "Woh Aasha Hain" and Pronita/Bani begins to get flashbacks from when Meera sang that song the day she attempted to kill her.

• Finally Pronita sees Meera's face and begins to get more flashbacks and then she suddenly remembers she is Bani (finally!!!). She goes outside and her father is there and she tells him how she regained her memory. Pronita then says she wants to go inside and tell everyone about Meera and that Bani is still alive. But her dad stops her by saying that no one will believe her as she needs proof. Finally Bani decides to go inside just to be by her loved ones but decides not to tell them the truth. She is extremely sentimental when Jai sings a song for Bani and she begins to cry. Ganga on the other hand is extremely bored. She meets Meera outside and says, " Look we've done everything to honor Bani mom but now they are extending this program way to much" Meera tells her that she can go out with her friends and gives her money. Ganga is elated and hugs Meera. Pronita/Bani sees all this and realizes that Meera has spoilt her daughter. After Meera leaves Ganga sees Pronita and she grabs her by the neck and tells her "How dare you spy on me, I've told you so many times you're not my mother and don't act like it" Pronita/Bani is affectionate and says, "Ganga beta. . " but Ganga yells at her and pushes her then leaves in a car. Bani/Pronita is depressed that her precious daughter would do this and says, "Meera not only have you taken everything away from me but you have ruined it too". Bani/Pronita goes inside the house where it is time to cut the cake. She sees Krishna on the way and hugs her daughter and Krishna unlike Ganga responds by smiling. Everyone insists Pronita cut the cake because Krishna points out that when she needed help and remembered her Bani mom, Pronita came. Dadi is also insistend and keeps calling Pronita Bani. After Pronita/Bani cuts the cake (incidently for her own bday) she is introduced to Meera. The two have some sharp talk and Pronita tells her that she has two faces, Meera decides that she doesn't like Pronita. Krishna meanwhile runs into the cake table where Bani's picture falls to the ground and she says, "Lets move this stupid stuff out of the way now that we are done with it" and Pronita/Bani is hurt that she has no respect for her mothers picture. Pronita is then adamant on revealing Ganga's reality to Mr. Walia and she tells him about Ganga's partying habits, etc. but Mr. Walia won't hear a thing and yells at Pronita. Pronita tells him that Ganga will not be in her room because she's out partying so Mr. Walia goes to Ganga's room but it turns out that Meera had already called Ganga and told her to come home so Ganga had just gotten back. Mr. Walia is furious at Bani/Pronita and he grabs her and tell her to get the hell out of his house and pushes her out.
• The next day Mr. Walia tells Ganga that she will no longer learn painting from Pronita and he will find a new teacher for her. Ganga is a bit upset because Pronita is a good painting teacher but she's also really glad that she doesn't have to deal with her anymore. Meera meanwhile advocated to Vicky over and over again that money is everything in life and that he has to acquire it at all costs so Vicky decides that he will gamble and bet in order to achieve wealth. Pronita/Bani is upset that Mr. Walia said that Ganga can't learn painting from her as this was the only oppurtunity to meet her daughter. She goes to the kali maa mandir and vows that she will take revenge and get her family back. She and her dad, Mr. Mitra come up with a new plan to reveal Ganga's true personality to Jai.

• Ganga goes to a disco that night where Pronita and Mr. Mitra follow her there as well. Incidently Krishna is at this same disco signing a deal for a job as an air hostess because she wants to earn money for herself. Vicky is also at the same disco gambling and betting with some other guys. Mr. Mitra calls up Jai and tells him that he wishes to buy one of Ganga's painings from the Mount Abu Exhibition. Jai is escatic and he rushes to that same disco to meet Mr. Mitra. This whole thing is a plan by Bani/Pronita and Mr. Mitra to reveal Ganga's personality to him. Krishna signs the deal to become an air hostess and it is revealed that the people she signed the deal with have something else in store. Vicky goes to get a drink, Krishna gets up to leave, and Ganga goes to get more cigarettes and the three run into each other. Krisha is shocked to see her older sister in this form and claims that Ganga was her role model. Ganga says that now that everything is in front of them it is revealed that all three of them have a different personality at home as opposed to outside. The three agree that they will continue to live their lives the way they want but in front of their dad they will continue to act "good". The three then go onto the dance floor and party. Pronita/Bani is astonished to see her other daughter there as well. Meanwhile Mr. Walia enters the disco with Ganga'a painting and Mr. Mitra leads him to a table. Jai bumps into Ganga on the dance floor and she falls to the ground but her hair is in her face so Jai can't see her. Ganga's friend walks over and yells at Mr. Walia and Mr. Walia is unfuriated. He tells Mr. Mitra that he hates the new generation and is so glad that his children aren't like that (little does he know. . . ). Pronita is mad that Mr. Walia didn't see Ganga and the others. Vicky is in the same hotel as Krishna and Ganga. Vicky goes to that pub to discuss his new buisness that he plans to start by himself and his freinds get kind os irritated by him so they tell him to have a bet on the cricket game that was being shown on the tv. Vicky gets in a fight with one of the guys he was betting with because they refused to give him his money, he punches one of them until blood is gushing out.

• Mr. Walia leaves the disco and still hasn't seen his children. Pronita/Bani is upset and she runs outside and gets into Mr. Walia's car. Mr. Walia tells her to get out as he has to go home since his children are waiting for him. Pronita tells him that his children aren't at home but are here and she points to Ganga, Krishna, and Vicky who are nearby. Ganga is telling Krishna and Vicky that they will make a pact and will help each other out in hiding their true personalities that way Ganga can party and smoke, Vicky can make bets, and Krishna can continue with her air hostess job. Mr. Walia hears all this and gets out of the car with Pronita. Ganga, Vicky, and Krishna are shocked as Mr. Walia yells at the three and says, "This is what I get for raising you and loving you more than ever" and Ganga tells him "Its our life, papa we can do whatever we want, I don't feel like I've done anything wrong" Mr. Walia is very sad and says, " Yes you're right I have no right to interfere" and he goes away. Pronita/Bani is also sobbing. Mr. Walia is depressed and cries saying, "I'm sorry Bani I wasn't able to show your children the right path" and he cries wishing she was here. Ironically Bani is also there and she is crying and attempts to console Mr. Walia saying that if Bani was here she would know its not your fault but Mr. Walia tells her to go away.

• Meanwhile at the Walia house everyone is waiting for Jai to come back. He comes back drunk and depressed and no one knows what is going on. Meera pretends she has no idea why Jai is depressed. Jai tells his family that he wants his name out of all of his assets and buisness as he wants everyone to think that Jai Walia is dead. He then reluctantly tells the family about how he has seen the other face of his children. Ganga, Krishna, and Vicky walk in and the entire family is stunned to see the three awake and Ganga dressed in western clothes. Mr. Walia then tells the whole family about what he saw and everyone is distressed. Ganga tells Jai that she still doesnt understand what they have done wrong as its our life and they can live it whatever way they like. Meera who is acting, slaps Ganga across the face saying that this is no way to talk to her father. Jai tells Ganga, Krisha, and Vicky that he never wants to see their face again. He then leaves abruptly and the whole family follows him. Meera then tells the kids that she was only acting and tells them to do what she says and asks them to go to their rooms. Jai goes to the graves of Krishna and Atharva (the 1st pair of twins) and Pronita is already there because she knows that Jai always comes here when he is sad. She vows that she will now reveal Meera's truth to him and then she hides when she sees Jai approaching. Jai cries and talks to Bani again and meanwhile Meera comes there too. Pronita/Bani is mad that Meera is there as it ruins her plan. Meera acts all "good" and attempts to console Jai saying that she feels bad too and that they must show the kids the right path as Krishna and Ganga are Bani's last marks/memories. Bani/Pronita listens to all this in pain behind the bushes.

• The next day the kids try to patch up with Jai by pretending to feel sorry for what they have done and Jai believes them. Meera meanwhile goes to the club and tells the manager that her kids, Ganga, Krishna, and Vicky can come there whenever they want and she pays the manager in order to keep his mouth shut from telling Jai. The Walia family then has a mother's day celebration for Rano, Meera, and Raashi. Jai calls Meera up to the room and it turns out that he got a necklace and earrings set for Meera and makes her wear it and tells her that she is the best mother ever. Then one of the servants brings in a parcel for Meera and it is a DVD, which has been sent by Pronita but that is not revealed to Meera and Jai. The DVD shows Meera with the kids when they are younger and Jai is happy. However at the end of the DVD is a clip from when Meera went to the club and bribed the manager. Jai is extremely shocked that Meera is the one that spoiled his kids. Meera first tries to deny this but then realizes she has no way out on this one so she tells Jai that she was behind all this and laughs. She explains to Jai that she hates Bani more than anyone in the world and she only did this because Krishna and Ganga are Bani's kids. She explains how she helped them hide their reality from Jai all this time and she tells Jai that she loves him a lot but Bani has always been in the way ruining their relationship, even after she died. She also tells him that he can't divorce her as more than half of his property and shares are in her name and at the same time his children, despite being his blood love their "choti maa" more than anyone and won't hear a world against him. Jai is angry and tells Meera that while his kids have Meera's way of thinking, they are still his blood and he will bring them on the right path. He goes downstairs and yells at the kids telling them that they are grounded and can't go out of the house. Ganga tells Jai that its their life and they can do whatever they want and he will never be able to stop them, Jai attempts to scold them but the kids talk back to him and he is upset. Meanwhile Meera is faking that she is upset and pretends to leave the house by packing her clothes. Her act is purely for Krishna and Ganga so that they will remain on her side. She tells Ganga and Krishna how Jai knows the truth now and is blaming her for everything because of the fact that Krishna and Ganga aren't her own children. Ganga and Krishna console her and reassure her that they will help her because she has helped them so many times and Meera is satisfied. Jai is extremely upset and drives to a cliff and is ready to commit suicide but Pronita/Bani appears from nowhere and gets in front of his car to stop him.

Then Bani tells Jai a plan to help Ganga, Krishna, and Vicky in realizing how truly awful they were. Jai is very confused at first and asks Bani what the hell do you want from me but then Bani reluctantly refused herself to reveal herself as Bani reborn and stated herself as her best friend from Mount Abu. Mount Abu is the highest peak in the Aravalli Range of Rajasthan state in western India. Bani tells Jai a plan that if the kids want to act cool and modern and ironically stupid, then Jai should follow them as well. He will pretend to understand what the kids wanted to be and will tag along and see if they will stop him. Jai thanks Bani for the plan and they team up to bring up the kids well after Meera's horrible wing. Jai tells Meera all about what he's "realized" to fool her as well and they march downstairs, call Ganga, Krishna, and Vicky, and Jai told them about what he thought about the modern way of life. He said "OK guys if ya wanna act modern then it's OK I realized i was foolish you go ahead and ill tag along" Jai let's Krishna work as an air hostess for as long as she wants to and earn as much and spend as much as she wants to. He let Vicky bet from the most richest people he knew and set up comfortable spots for Vicky to bet. As for Ganga, he let her use his credit card for anything she wanted-from cigarettes to her drinks, anything. And he didn't let her party in "stinking disco clubs", he let her party in the most awesome 5 star bars and clubs. The kids seem satisfied with the new Jai Walia. That night Jai gets a phone call from someone and he talks about " a plan" of some sort and Meera is suspicious and follows Jai all the way downstairs where she seems him talking to someone she turns the light on and no one is there. She tells Jai that she knows about his "plan" and that he should tell her now. Just then the kids come in and say "surprise". Jai explains that he was doing all this to surprise Meera because its their 25th anniversary today. Meanwhile Pronita watches from outside the door as the "plan" she and Jai made is working. The next day Jai announces that for his and Meera's 25th anniversary he wants them to get remarried. He and the kids have planned the entire "wedding" and he has also bought a wedding dress for Meera and gives her a certificate to the beauty salon, Meera is extremely happy. While Meera is at the salon, Jai's manager brings a stack of papers for Meera to sign and he tells her that Jai is transferring all his stocks/bonds in her name. Meera is happy and she only reads the first paper and signs all the rest. Meanwhile Ganga, Vicky, and Krishna are sitting in a room with some friends and Ganga lights a cigarrete and Jai walks in. Everyone is afraid as to what Jai will do but he simply tells Ganga that he is mad that she is smoking such a cheap brand of cigarettes and since she is Jai Walia's daughter she should smoke the most expensive kind. He also comes in with a huge tray of alcoholic drinks and tells them all to enjoy. Ganga is very happy but Vick seems worried. Later on, Ganga, Vicky, Krishna, Varun, and Vidya all dance to Deewanagee from Om Shanti Om. Afterwards the wedding is about to start and the bride comes in with her face covered and they get married. However it is clear that the person Jai is marrying is NOT Meera because Meera arrives a few minutes later dressed in her wedding clothes, however no one knows that the person Jai is marrying isn't Meera except perhaps Jai himself.

Meera then enters the house and sees Jai taking the Saat Pheres with someone else. She stops the wedding and everyone looks around. It is then revealed that Pronita/Bani is the person who is getting married to Jai. Meera then asks Jai that he can't get married again as Jai and Meera are already married. Jai then reveals to Meera that the papers which she signed on about the property transfer, were actually the divorce papers. Jai reminds the kids that it is his life and he has the full right to live it the way he wants to. Vicky, Krishna and Ganga remember what happened outside the Rave Club. Meera and Bani then have a fight which is the re-enactment of what happened when Meera attacked Bani in the April Episode.
