Kanchipuram, Kanchi, or Kancheepuram (also sometimes Conjeevaram) is a district is in the northeast of Tamil Nadu, adjacent to the Bay of Bengal. Tamil Nadu ( Tamil:, Country of the Tamils, t̪ɐmɨɻ n̪aːɽɯ is one of the 28 states of India. The Bay of Bengal is a bay that forms the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean. It is bounded in the west by Vellore and Thiruvannamalai districts, in the north by Thiruvallur District and Chennai District, in the south by Viluppuram District. Vellore district is one of the 31 districts in the Tamilnadu state of India. Thiruvannaamalai District is one of the 30 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu, in South India. Tiruvallur district is an administrative district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The Chennai District is a district in the state of Tamil Nadu, in India. For Headquarters (HQ see Viluppuram (town Viluppuram (also Villupuram and Vizhupuram) is one of the thirty districts which make up Tamil It lies between 11° 00' to 12° 00' North latitudes and 77° 28' to 78° 50' East longitudes.
