Popular collegian, and the chairman in his Chennai college, Prabhu (Prabhu Deva), is asked by the Principal to invite the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Kakarlal Sathyanaryanamoorthy (Girish Karnad), to be the chief guest on the annual day of the college.
