Gameplay

Plot

The game starts when two U. S Army Rangers, land on the island with orders by Alan Grant to rescue survivors that crashed on the island earlier on in the story (not shown). The Rangers soon see one of the survivors running away from a group of Compsognathus, they follow and rescue the man, while defeating Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor along the way. A Spinosaurus appears and chases you through the forest where you can see the plane that crashed in Jurassic Park III. Grant tells you that there is a vehicle back in the compound the Rangers landed in and they flee to it. There they face off against the Spinosaurus. After defeating it, a Tyrannosaurus emerges and the two beasts begin to fight. The characters get in the vehicle and leave the dueling dinosaurs behind.

It is soon found out that more survivors are at the hatchery where the people in Jurassic Park III were first attacked. On the way there in the vehicle, the group crashes into an Ankylosaurus and has to defeat it. When that is done, they arrive at the hatchery to rescue the survivors. After defeating a huge group of Velociraptor in the building and rescuing the survivor, they leave, walking into a parking lot full of land cruisers. A T. rex boss attacks them. Once it's defeated, they head off into the Bird Cage where the Pteranodon were in the movie. After defeating a group of the flying creatures, rescuing the remaining survivors and defeating the Pteranodon boss, the group head to the boat (like in the movie), fighting more Velociraptor along the way.

As they make it across the river, they are assaulted by more Velociraptor, Compsognathus, Dilophosaurus, and Pteranodon. After surviving these attacks, they face off against a Spinosaurus which attacks while taking cover underwater. When the group reaches shore, they make their way through another group of Velociraptor until night falls in and they reach their goal, the Marina. There, a Spinosaurus attacks the group in a flaming background, like in the Jurassic Park 3 movie. After defeating the Spinosaurus the group gets on a boat and leaves the island. The Rangers lean against the boat as dawn breaks over. The credits show a variety of dinosaurs in the game running along a computerized background (green grids along a black backdrop).
