Jon Kasdan (born Jonathan Kasdan) is the son of film director Lawrence Kasdan and the brother of director and actor Jake Kasdan. Lawrence Kasdan (born 14 January, 1949) is an American movie producer, director and Screenwriter. Jake Kasdan (born Jacob Kasdan 1974 is a Golden Globe nominated American television and film director His directorial debut, In the Land of Women, was released in the United States in 2007. In the Land of Women is a 2007 Comedy / Drama / romance Film directed and written by Jon Kasdan. The United States of America —commonly referred to as the Kasdan also wrote the film, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. The Cannes Film Festival (le Festival de Cannes founded in 1946 is one of the world's oldest most influential and prestigious Film festivals alongside Venice, Kasdan has worked as a writer for the American television series Freaks and Geeks, and as an actor in Dawson's Creek. Kasdan was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease when he was a 17-year old junior in high school. Hodgkin's lymphoma, also known as Hodgkin's disease is a type of Lymphoma first described by Thomas Hodgkin in 1832 [1]
