John Zaffis (born 1955) is a paranormal researcher based in Connecticut. Paranormal is an Umbrella term used to describe unusual Phenomena or experiences that lack an obvious Scientific explanation Connecticut ( is a state located in the New England region of the northeastern United States of America. He runs the Paranormal and Demonology Research Society of New England^[1] which he founded in 1998.

Zaffis has over thirty years experience as a paranormal investigator. ^[2] He spent his first years studying under his uncle and aunt Ed and Lorraine Warren^[3], both demonologists. Ed Warren ( September 7 1926 - August 23, 2006) was a self-described demonologist, author and lecturer Demonology (from Greek grc δαίμων daimōn, "demon" and grc -λογία -logia) is the systematic study of ^[4] What he learned from his aunt and uncle went far beyond his original interests in ghosts and haunted houses. ^[5] He became interested in demonology from a young age,^[6] which led into Zaffis's involvement with cases of possession and exorcism and working with prominent exorcists in that field. He has studied the work of Roman Catholic priests, monks, Buddhists, rabbis and Protestant ministers. A number of noted individuals have been Buddhists. Zaffis has made appearances on Unsolved Mysteries, Fox News Live^[9] and the Discovery Channel documentaries Little Lost Souls and Haunting in Connecticut. Unsolved Mysteries is an American Television program that was hosted and narrated by television and film actor Robert Stack, until his death Discovery Channel is an American Satellite and Cable TV channel (also delivered via IPTV, Terrestrial television and ^[10] Currently he co-hosts the Paranormal Nights radio show with Brendan Keenan.
