John Cerbone is an author, actor, and hypnotist. An author is defined both as "the person who originates or gives existence to anything" and that authorship determines responsibility for what is created An actor, actress, player or thespian (see terminology) is a person who Acts in a Dramatic production and who works Hypnosis is often thought to be a wakeful state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility with diminished peripheral awareness He was inducted into the Hypnosis Hall of Fame in 1995. He is claimed to be the fastest hypnotist alive, inducing trance in microseconds.
He is the architect of a method of hypnotic induction called "Speed-Trance" that produces profound trance and hypnotic induction more rapidly than when using traditional approaches. In 2007 he collaborated with Richard Nongard to produce a DVD titled "Speed-Trance" that won the ICBCH Hypnosis Educational DVD of the Year Award (2007). Cerbone has presented lectures to Hypnoticon the International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapists and many other professional associations. He is highly regarded as an innovator in both clinical and entertainement hypnosis. He is active in energy work, hypnosis and education. He was a close associate of Ormond McGill. Ormond McGill (1913 – October 19, 2005) was the "Dean of American Hypnotists" He has performed stage hypnosis in Las Vegas with Richard Nongard and has been a popular New York entertainer since the early 1990's.
