Jay Roach (born 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American film director and producer, best known for directing the Austin Powers films and Meet the Parents. Background
Roach graduated in 1975 from Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eldorado High School is a public high school located in northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico. He earned a degree from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1986. The University of Southern California (commonly referred to as USC, SC, Southern California, and incorrectly The USC School of Cinematic Arts, until 2006 named the School of Cinema-Television (CNTV is a Film school within the University of Southern California [1]
He is married to Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles and has two sons. Susanna Lee Hoffs (born January 17, 1959) is an American Vocalist, Guitarist and Actress best known as a member of The Bangles are an American all-female band that originated in the early 1980s, scoring several hit singles through much of the decade
