Jason Mohammad (born Cardiff), is a Welsh radio and television presenter for BBC Wales. Cardiff ( 'kɑːdɪf) is the Capital and the largest city and county in Wales. Radio is the transmission of signals by Modulation of electromagnetic waves with frequencies below those of visible Light. A presenter, or host (sometimes hostess, in feminine form is a Person or Organization responsible for running an event BBC Wales ( BBC Cymru) is a division of the British Broadcasting Corporation for Wales.

Biography

Mohammad was born and raised in Cardiff, going to school at Glyn Derw High[1]. Cardiff ( 'kɑːdɪf) is the Capital and the largest city and county in Wales. He studied Welsh and Politics at Swansea University[2], and then attended Cardiff University for a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism[3]. BBC Wales

Mohammad joined BBC Wales in 1997 as a reporter, initially in North Wales for "BBC Wales Today". BBC Wales ( BBC Cymru) is a division of the British Broadcasting Corporation for Wales. The Ryder Cup is a Golf trophy donated by Samuel Ryder, which is awarded Biennially in an event called the "Ryder Cup Matches" between teams from The Football Association Challenge Cup, commonly known as the FA Cup, is a knockout cup competition in English football, run by and named after He is also anchor for "Wales on Saturday", BBC Wales' television sports results programme, and presents the BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year Award.

Mohammad is now a main presenter for "BBC Wales Today", can often be heard presenting on BBC Radio Wales, and, as a fluent Welsh language speaker, makes regular appearances on BBC Radio Cymru. He has presented "Children in Need", and has even made guest appearances on the 2005 and 2007 Christmas episodes of "Doctor Who". Mohammad built up a regular following on Saturday evenings on BBC Radio Wales with the "Extra Time" sports phone-in. Mohammad and Owen Money took calls from football and rugby fans at 18:00, but have now been replaced by BBC Radio Five Live's 6-0-6. Owen Money (born Lynn Mittell in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales in May 1947 is a Neath -based Welsh Musician, Actor 6-0-6 (pronounced six-oh-six is a football Phone-in, broadcast on BBC Radio Five Live throughout the football season when the programme started However, Mohammad and Money now team up on the "Extra Time Quiz," a spin-off from the phone-in.
