Jamie Stone (born 16 June 1954) is a Scottish Liberal Democrat politician, and Member of the Scottish Parliament for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross. Jamie Stone holds an MA in History and Geology from St Andrew's University. The University of St Andrews is the oldest University in Scotland and third oldest in the English-speaking world, having been founded between He is married with one son and two daughters, both of whom also attended St Andrews University.

Mr Stone courted controversy in the run up to the 2007 Scottish General Election by branding the Scottish National Party as "xenophobic": he later issued what is best described as a "half apology".
