Overview

Jamie is the son of Danny and Carol Baldwin. A week or so later in December 2006, Violet Wilson revealed to Jamie that she was pregnant with his child, a bombshell that was followed by another one, as Jamie revealed his affair with Frankie to a horrified Violet.

Relationship with Frankie Baldwin

In December 2006, Jamie and Frankie decided to start a new life together in Spain, but on New Year's Eve, when they were set to depart, Frankie revealed to Jamie that she couldn't go through with it. Frankie went to stay at a friend's in Essex.

Violet's second pregnancy

In 2007, Jamie expressed disapproval after finding out about Sean Tully and Violet's plan to have a baby, but eventually apologised to them for his attitude; however in Autumn 2007 he invited Violet to join him at his mother's wedding, and there was an obvious attraction between the former couple. Moving to London

It was announced that the character would leave the Street in 2008.

On Friday 22 February, Violet gave birth. In the coming week the couple planned to flee the Street so that baby Dylan would and could be raised as Violet and Jamie's. They knew that if they remained on Coronation Street then he would always be seen as Sean's son.

The day that Jamie and Violet were due to leave Weatherfield, they filled up the car with their items and were ready to leave the Street without anybody knowing.

Violet also proposed to Jamie because it was February 29. He accepted and then left to show of her new born for the last time.

However, Violet's sister, Lauren saw Jamie fill up the car.
