James R. Kirk was a song/jingle writer in the early 1970's with PAMS and later joined TM Productions in the late 1970s. PAMS (an Acronym for Production Advertising Merchandising Service) based in Dallas Texas, was the most famous Jingle production company

Throughout his career, Kirk wrote jingles for such clients as The American Top 40 with Casey Kasem, WRKO (Boston), KMGC (Dallas), KVIL (Dallas), The Boy Scouts of America, Coca-Cola, KJR (Seattle), WFAA-TV (Dallas) and countless others. WFAA-TV, channel 8 is the ABC television affiliate serving the Dallas / Fort Worth Texas DMA ( 5th largest nationwide) In 1980, Jim Kirk and the TM Singers hit #11 on the Billboard Top 40, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 with "The Voice of Freedom". All proceeds benefited the American Red Cross.

In 1986, Kirk left TM Productions with partner Buddy Scott to start Corporate Magic, a production company specializing in corporate events.


In 2000, Gaylord Entertainment purchased Corporate Magic from Kirk, who continues to run the company as the President and Chief Creative Officer.
