Incognegro was Ludacris' debut album before signing with Def Jam Records. Def Jam Recordings is a United States based hip-hop Record label, owned by Universal Music Group, and operates as a part of The Island Album reportedly sold more than 300,000 copies. Most of the tracks were reused in his major label debut Back for the First Time except "It Wasn't Us" "Midnight Train" "Hood Stuck" and "A Rock and a Hard Place". Back for the First Time was the second Album and major-label debut LP from Def Jam South recording artist Ludacris.
