Inches of water, inAq, "Aq or inH20 is a non-SI unit for pressure. Pressure (symbol 'p' is the force per unit Area applied to an object in a direction perpendicular to the surface It is used for measuring small pressure differences across an orifice, or in a pipeline or shaft. Pipeline transport is the transportation of goods through a pipe. [1]

It is defined as the pressure exerted by a column of water of 1 inch in height at defined conditions for example 39 °F (4 °C) at the standard acceleration of gravity; 1 inAq is approximately equal to 250 pascals at 0 °C. Water is a common Chemical substance that is essential for the survival of all known forms of Life. Inches redirects here To see the Les Savy Fav album see Inches. Height is the measurement of vertical Distance, but has two meanings in common use The Celsius Temperature scale was previously known as the centigrade scale. Standard gravity, usually denoted by g 0 or g n is the nominal acceleration due to gravity at the Earth's surface at sea level

Alternative standard conditions in common usage are 60 °F, or 68 °F (20 °C)

Its most common usage is in the measurement of air ("wind") that supplies a pipe organ and is referred simply as inches. The pipe organ is a Musical instrument that produces sound when pressurized air (wind is driven through a series of pipes, controlled by a keyboard Standard wind pressure in the organ is typically around 3 to 4 inches but some high-pressure stops can be on 25 inches or more. An organ stop (or just stop) is a component of a Pipe organ which admits pressurized air (known as wind) to a set of Organ pipes Its name

It is also used in natural gas distribtuion for measuring utilization pressure (U. P. ) which is typically between 6 and 7 inches or . 25 psi.
