He also took 4th at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, losing one of his matches by fall to Doug Blubaugh of the United States. There is a famous poster (among wrestlers) of Habibi being pinned by Blubaugh, because he was so well-respected and this was a major upset at the time.
