Howard Lindley was an Australian freelance journalist, film maker and music writer for POL and GoSet magazines. Lindley committed suicide in 1972 after starting work on a film about the Australian rock band The Masters Apprentices. The Masters Apprentices were a leading Australian rock band of the 1960s and early 1970s fronted by singer Jim Keays.
